Dear Friends and Colleagues in the Industry On behalf of the Vietnam National Oil & Gas Group (more popularly known as "PETROVIETNAM") it is our pleasure to invite you to the 10th Gas Information Exchange for the Western Pacific (GASEX) on November 12-15, 2008 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The biennial GASEX Conference & Exhibition is the only forum dedicated to the Natural Gas Industry in the Western Pacific Asia region. GASEX has been held for the last 17 years fostering the sustainable development of the region's gas industry by facilitating discussion of current business and technological challenges.

Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PETROVIETNAM) is honoured to host the GASEX 2008 Conference & Exhibition. PETROVIETNAM was established in 1975. Since its inception, PETROVIETNAM has developed rapidly and its activities now cover all the operations from oil and gas exploration and production to storage, processing, transporation, distribition and services.

Themed "Sustaining Integration & Development," the GASEX 2008 Conference & Exhibition aims to bring together the best minds in the gas industry to share and exchange their views, knowledge, and expertise. While the conference will emphasize on the need for regional integratin towards sustainability, the exhibition will showcase major players and key movers in the gas industry.

GASEX 2008 will likewise feature keynote address, plenary sessions, panel discussions, and break-out session covering a wide-range of issues including current economic situations of GASEX member economics, regional gas supply and demand, gas applications and utilization, among others.
